Bleeding and Contractions at Week 39

I woke up with regular contractions and some fresh blood bleeding. However, as hours passed my contractions became like once every 10mins. The bleeding continues. I went to KKH to check and they checked my cervix opening 1-1.5cm. Told me to go home and monitor. However, I’m still experiencing bleeding and I’m getting worried. The duty doc says it’s normal to bleed as my cervix softens to open bigger. I’m quite concerned as the bleeding is rather consistent. Anyone had similar experience or any advice? My EDD 40 weeks is in 4 days time.
