Polyp and baby too small?

I just went for a scan as I had light pink and red discharge. Doc said two things: that I have polyp and the baby still too small ~0.4cm for 6.5 weeks. Doc prescribes me with Duphaston. After the scan, I have bleeding. Next check up will be ard 1.5 weeks later, Doc also said if the growing is too slow, it may be ruled out as failed pregnancy.... Wondering if anyone experiences the same as me..
