I do. But it doesn't necessarily means smarter as in in knowledge about facts and what-nots from books. But more like smarter in life in general ie decision-making, independence, resilience in all things she does especially as she grows old.

And u know why will parents think that way? Its a lot caused by social comparison and also sch academic gradings. Each child has their own ability n talent, these social benchmark are just killing them, and us.

I must admit that there are times I feel he probably could "use this brain a little more". But, those moments are fleeting and it's only when I'm in a hurry and he can't keep up and it's no fault of his!

accept what he is and what he can do and guide him on the things he has difficulty doing.. different child excel in different aspect..
