Dating scan advice

I really want to avoid having a transvaginal scan if possible. It sounds really scary. If I see a gynae at week 7-8, would I be able to avoid it?#firsttimemom

Nothing wrong with a transvaginal scan, you will only feel slight discomfort, nothing out of the ordinary. Not possible to avoid
