8 weeks old Night feeding

May i know the interval for night feeding? As in do we need to wake baby up to drink every 3-4hrs? Or we can let her sleep if she didnt wakeup for milk? My baby sometimes drink half the volume and sleep and wakeup 1hr later.. but sometimes she take the full 90ml and will sleep for 3-4hrs.. Is there a way to make her drink full 90ml during midnight feeding? She usually push away the bottle, face turn red when we try to prevent her to push away the bottle.. so we just let it be and stop feeding as am afraid she will choke… Help please :’(

At eight weeks old babies tummy will be as big as an egg? So almost impossible for a big feed. That's why it's exhausting to wake up every two hours for a small feed. Should be up till three or four months old before increasing the timing between especially if baby has started to gain weight nicely. I mean for sanity parents prefer taking their sleep, but lactation consultants will encourage constant feeds wether breast milk or formula fed. I could be wrong, maybe there's new guidelines updates so do reach out to a feeding consultant so u can get a peace of mind. I personally struggled feeding every 2.5hrs up till seven months old (went overboard almost fainted from chronic exhaustion) but personally baby thrived super well so am happy the feedings has finally passed haha. I wish there's something optimal that benefits both mom and baby! ❤️💚
