I badly wanted to get pregnant

I have regular mens ever since, meaning I get mens every month, I don’t know exactly what is my menstrual cycle. We started trying to get pregnant last January, I started tracking my cycle and it falls under 35 and 34 days. I don’t have my period as of today, my expected period should be may 7. I tried pregnancy test twice but got negative results. I don’t know if I am pregnant or not since it’s been 40 days since my last period. Does this happen?#advicepls #pregnancy
