Hi mums I have a 9 days old baby what should I do when he cry’s?

Babies cry for various reasons. It could be hunger, dirty diaper, too cold, too warm, unfamiliar environment, loud noises etc. The key is to be attentive and respond to your baby’s cues and needs promptly so that he will feel secure. Newborns need a lot of love and care. Feed him on demand, have lots of skin to skin contact and swaddle. Most babies like to be swaddled. Clothes should be 100% cotton and no need to layer too many clothes as babies can overheat easily.
