cervical cerclage

i had a previous 2nd tri miscarriage in 2023 where i gave birth the baby suddenly. im currently in my 2nd tri again and the doctor suggested cerclage. however i have been going to the hosp for every 2 weeks to get my cervix check and the cervix is not getting shorter. im on utrogestan since first tri. should i go for the cerclage or should i continue 2 weeks check up on cervix and continue utrogestan. i feel like this time, i have a better mentality and healthier pregnancy. im in dilemma.....

Hi! Im on utrogestan as well. And i went for appt every 2 weeks too. My case same as yours. 100% same. But my gynae did not suggest cerclage, this only last resort. My cervic are very good as of now. Hopefully it stays this way till time to give birth. I think js go on with the regular check up and cervic check. 🤲🏻🤲🏻🤲🏻

yeap! do take picture of the mucus/ sticky kind and let ur ob know. ob would know better☺️ for mine, i had those sticky kind and was scared so i took a picture, doc say its infection

this should be best discussed with your gynae instead
