Review on Dr. Ong Xiaohui (TMC)
Hi all, I’m FTM and planning to switch over from KKH to TMC since private route poses no difference in terms of cost and care. I am considering taking up the prenatal package with Dr. Ong and have met her once for consultation. She is friendly and patient. I wanted to know if her stitching skill and delivery skill are good and also reliable for any emergency situation. Since I couldn’t find any review on her online, hence asking all the kind members here who might be able to share some honest feedback and insights? Thank you

cervical cerclage
i had a previous 2nd tri miscarriage in 2023 where i gave birth the baby suddenly. im currently in my 2nd tri again and the doctor suggested cerclage. however i have been going to the hosp for every 2 weeks to get my cervix check and the cervix is not getting shorter. im on utrogestan since first tri. should i go for the cerclage or should i continue 2 weeks check up on cervix and continue utrogestan. i feel like this time, i have a better mentality and healthier pregnancy. im in dilemma.....

FTS result intermediate risk due to age but blood test and scan results were fine.
I just received a call from the hospital stating that my FTS results was intermediate risk 1 in 800 due to my age as currently im 40 years old this year. But they informed my blood test results and the scans look fine. Its due to my age they place me as intermediate risk and encourage me to take the NIPT test. I asked myself if i need to because even if the results wont be good, i insist on still keeping the baby. I dont know if its even necessary to take the nipt. Or does it tell if it will endanger me when im delivering the baby or this tells all about the baby condition only?

Require recommendations on obgyn at KKH
I’m first time mommy and currently on week 11. I will be having the second scan in a couple of weeks including the NIPT test. May I know if any mommy here can recommend a good obgyn at KKH can see me throughout the pregnancy journey, who is dedicated and experienced for first time pregnancy like me? Additionally, I should be opting for private at KKH. Is it true that the pricing is no different from private practice outside? If yes, please also feel free to recommend obgyn outside of KKH.
