20 week scan

I had my 20 weeks scan at KKH 2 weeks ago.... and only now I'm wondering if they checked for cleft palate / lips... doc just told me everything is fine after the scan.. I'm a ftm, so didn't know what questions to ask at that time. Anyone knows if cleft palate is definitely checked during 20 weeks scan? 😟 #firstbaby #1stimemom #advicepls #pregnancy

Had my 20wks scan last mth & the sonographer did point out the complete structure of the brains, upper & lower lips, nose bridge, heart valves, kidneys & every other organ in details. My girl is breech & facing outwards so everything is clear.

i just had my 20weeks scan last tuesday, and yes they checking the cleft lip. sonographer showed me also that lips is okay.

Did you do NIPT? Usually they will check any abnormalities against the blood test results

    hi~ yes I did NIPT all normal. I thought cleft palate can only be seen in scan 🤭🤭 that's why was wondering....

    From what I know can’t check cleft palate
