Hi mummy! I also had high risk of pre-eclampsia and took aspirin. Was my first pregnancy and low risk pregnancy so this also came as sudden news to me. Don't worry too much at this point unless your gynae has flagged anything up! My gynae explained that low dosage aspirin helps to thin the blood slightly to make sure blood flow to baby is maintained, and it is prescribed as a preventive measure because once you are diagnosed with pre-eclampsia there is no cure other than birthing the baby - which risks premature birth. Just keep on top of your meds and supplements, if you miss one day don't freak out just bounce back :) I ended up delivering a healthy 3kg baby who's now 1.5yo and 75 percentile 🥰 Wishing you all the best!
