I gave my 6-month old son a banana. The next day he constipated. Did your baby experience this too when eating bananas?

What kind of banana? Yes, it's common for babies to feel constipated after eating a banana, especially he's only 6 months old and I assume he was just recently introduced to solids. Since solids take time to be processed by a baby's intestines, you can expect that it'll take some time to digest. I suggest you give the lakatan kind of banana, as this can be easier to digest compared to latundan.

Nope.. Only unripened bananas can cause constipation. Ripe banana has fibre content & helps in relieving constipation. Doctor suggested us to feed fully ripe banana and also suggest us to- 1, keep the baby well hydrated 2, give fibre rich food 3, massage baby's tummy

I had the same problem. The pd suggested offering some water (up to 3oz a day) if the baby is on solids like banana puree.
