Flat head

Hi, I bought a flat head pillow for my newborn and she has been using it for a few weeks, but friends have told me that I shouldn’t be using a pillow. I am quite confused, should we use a pillow or not?

I used one too, my baby is 11 months now and she's fine. We co-sleep. But I just found out recently that we should not put anything that can endanger our babies during sleep and this includes pillows and blankets.
