yes can. i used it for my boy too in the early months. but u may want to ensure it is dry off before u let baby have contact with that body part that has the aloe vera in case he eat it. i will apply a thin layer and blow it.it was at his neck area and ears so it was little chance that he will go touch and eat. otherwise use coconut oil
