I am 11 weeks pp, and have been exclusively pumping for a month. I would like to try to latch again.. anyone has success after exclusively pumping for a while?

Re-establish the skin-to-skin bonding between you and your baby. When you are not feeding baby, hold baby as much as you can to your bare skin, preferably with baby's torso bare as well. This will encourage a release of hormones that will make baby "reintroduce" baby to the idea of nursing and open to latching again. My friend tried this method after months of pumping and it works! It also allowed for much needed bonding after working about 12 hours/daily and not spending enough time with baby.

I have successfully latch back after 3 months post partum. Try to latch when baby is not too hungry. You can just try when you are ready. Baby most likely will latch back. You will have to stop being the one giving bottles totally. If baby do not want to latch back, you can ask someone else to feed the bottle so that baby knows that with you, there will be no bottles.

Reine, did you latch exclusively after you managed to latch? did you also get engorgement issues when you switched to latching?
