how to teach toddler sharing toys?

I think the best way to learn generosity and sharing is to learn by example. Let your child witness moments of you sharing and your child will emulate your kind actions -- so share your food with her, offer to share your ice cream or treats and ask if you can try hers. Make it a point to use the word "share" to describe what you're doing, and don't forget to teach your child that sharing is a good thing because kindness will be reciprocated. Let him/her see you give and take, compromise and share with others because children emulate the people close to them and if up portray sharing as a worthy act, your child will follow suit :)
