How much did/will you pay for confinement nanny?

POV: Paying nanny just to take care of the baby and washing your clothes and cooking is just not worth 3k / 4k (herbal and confinement meals not included, plus maybe a stay in nanny, or maybe this nanny only work for half day) Cheaper choice, if u are able to ask your parents or parents in law to help out.. if cannot handle. There is confinement meals out in the market that cost $1700, herbal for recovery around $1k Washing of clothes, u can use glove. With nanny estimate damage is $6k (this amount u can consider gg to confinement center just topping up afew more k and enjoythe luxury) without nanny estimated is $2.7k

Don't need any. Can buy herbs (30 days bundle) for confinement soup. Prepare longan and red dates tea a night before next day. Can ask mom to make the soup with the herbs and cook a couple of dishes. Then learn how to hands on taking care of baby by your own and evening by hubby after work. Or order confinement meal catering.

Wouldn’t pay. Nowadays confinement nanny costs $3-4k for non peak period. To just feed the baby, wash clothes and cook for me is too expensive. And it doesn’t include the food ingredients cost. I got confinement meals from a vendor and it costs about 1.7k. Rather save the balance amount for my kids next time.

Don’t need confinement nanny. Self take care the baby is best. Food can order or husband cook/ mum cook as well.
