Newborn milk consumption

How much formula ml is normal for newborns to consume? Nurses recommended 25ml per feed but it’s not enough for my Son. How much can I double up that’s safe for him?

Nurse also rec 25ml per feed but my lo seems hungry before the schedule feeding time, so in the end I feed her by demand
