How many days into their first day at school did your child stop crying? Mine has not stopped and it's the third week already. Wondering if it's normal.

It is normal for kids to cry on their first day to school, but some do cry till the end of the session as well. I cried almost for 2 months because I did not like the colour of my uniform and hated the fact that I will not be able to be with my mother for 5 hours a day. There were many more reasons - i) I did not like the concept of school. It seemed like jail/ punishment to me. ii) I used to be scared of the fact that I might never get to see my parents again. iii) I did not like my bench partner. She was really rude. iv) A gigantic boy in the school bus bullied me. He used to tease me for being tiny. So, if you want to go by my experience, find out the problem and try to fix it.
