Formula milk shelf life

Hi! How long do you throw away your excess formula milk powder once opened? I’m using Similac and the instructions says to consume within 3 weeks of opening.. which is quite fast. Google seems to suggest 1 month. Thanks!

I’m using NAN Optipro and instructions also mention to consume within 3 weeks. There was once I dragged till the 4th week and altho milk powder still dissolved well but my LO had super watery poo (his poo came out like as tho he was peeing) and I thought it might be diarrhoea. Or could be coincidence? But better safe than sorry!

So i guess it's normal as mine was pasty then became watery 🫣

try to consume within 3 weeks once opened. I am using similac too and there was once I didn't finish it within 1 month and it didn't mix well with water after that then I threw the excess away.

Please finish by 3 weeks or discard. Germs can grow quickly in Singapore warm climate, especially in highly nutritious items like formula powder, babies can get very sick from contamination.

It is within 1 month before you can throw away if it is not consumed.
