The biggest and easiest way to do it is to practice what you want your child to learn. Simple things such as the way you speak and interact with your house help, driver, watchmen and other such helpers will show your kid the basic of being kind to others. We regularly cook food at home to share with street kids nearby, and also celebrate our special days with kids at a local orphanage. My kids think it is a natural way of caring for others, and have already started imbibing the same in their daily habits.

I agree with others comments. You are a role model for your child. So it is important that you show kindness to others which will then be inculcated by your child. I found an article which may help you as to what all you can do to to show the value of kindness to your child: https://sg.theasianparent.com/pay-it-forward-and-teach-your-child-kindness?utm_source=article-bottom&utm_medium=copy&utm_campaign=article-share

Seeing, practising and role modeling is the best way to inculcate values to a child. As the saying goes, action speaks louder then words. Kids learn best from their role leaders. Best form, no two ways about that for me. Hope this helps.
