My mom weaned my youngest sister from breastfeeding when she was almost 3 years old. At first, what mom did is to limit the nursing sessions with sis. She was half-hearted when she was doing it. But she had to do it because sis is too naughty that she bites on mom’s nips especially when during night time nursing sesh. When mom came into the firm and committed decision to wean the toddler from breastfeeding, she just totally ignored my sister’s eagerness to feed on her breast and gives her a bottle instead.
