Re-evaluate your time - decide how you will divvy up your time between work, your child, and all of your other responsibilities 6. Find friends 7. Eat healthy foods 8. Exercise 9. Lean on your partner 10. Learn or get a massage If someone is experiencing postpartum depression, the best thing you can do is to offer support. Give her a break from her childcare duties, provide a listening ear, and be patient and understanding. She also needs to take care of herself. Dealing with the needs of a new baby is hard for the partner as well as the mother.
