Hi Poonam, This is a big transitional phase for your baby, so make sure that whatever you give, the amount should not be more than 2 to 3 tsps. a day. Also, stick to the 3 day rule, where you should give the same new food 3 days in a row. This will help you understand how your baby reacts to the food. Some very healthy first foods that you can start now are dal ka pani, boiled and mashed dal, boiled rice, dal and rice mix, mashed rice and potato, boiled spinach and carrot mash, avocado, pureed apples, boiled and mash pears, sooji kheer, raagi porridge and so on. you can give a variety of boiled fruits and vegetables as well as fresh juices, including tender coconut water.
