discharge in the eyes

Hi , is it normal for my 5months old to have discharge in the eyes? It's worse in the morning cos he struggles to open his eyes. I tried breast milk but the condition doesn't seem to get better. Please help

Is he having any infection? Use normal water to wipe instead Go see a doc.

Thank u very much ,I did see a doctor an he had an infection, but he is ok now. Thanks a lot
