Helo po mga mommies.. tanung ko lang po sana sainyo kung meron na pong nakatry magpaturok ng Covid-19 vaccine po sainyo.. noong di pa po ako buntis gusto ko po talagang magpaturok.. pero everything change nung nalaman kong buntis ako, natatakit ako sa effect nya kay baby... though my OB told me that i can have the vaccine already kasi nasa second trimester na ako mejo nag aalangan parin ako. I got my first dose 4 days before I knew I was pregnant (April), Astrazeneca brand. 2nd dose was given during my 2nd trimester (August). I am a healthcare worker but I've been staying at home since I found out that I'm pregnant. My dad and brother had Covid in July, both are my close contacts since they frequently visit me at home. I tested negative. Just a few weeks ago, both my grandparents, with whom I live with, also had Covid (P.S. they don't go out). I tested negative again. Sobrang ingat namin sa bahay, di na namin alam san sila nahawa. Naospital pa sila. Marami na rin severe cases sa pregnant women ngayon, especially sa 3rd trimester. Worst case, mom and baby don't make it. So if I can lower the risk of Covid, I will. Not just for me, but especially for my baby. Talk to your OB para kapag ng decide ka, at least fully informed ka.
