Skip appointment

Has anyone skipped their appointment before? I'm 28 weeks plus and will be seeing my gynae in 2 days time but thought of skipping the appointment for once cos I'm having a bad cough. Scared I won't be allowed to enter the hospital. My next appointment will be about the same date but on January which will be my baby's growth scan @ 32 weeks. #advicepls

A little anxious, a lot excited

May be try to call the hospital and ask for a different date. Yes with cough you may not be allowed in. Are you a subsidized patient or seeing private gynec? Either way you should be able to get a postponed date.

I don't think I'll be asking for a different date since it's just a normal check-up and I have another upcoming appoinment (scan + see gynae) on Jan. So I think no need to call them? Not sure since this will be my 1st time skipping the appointment due to bad cough.
