Chicken Pox

Goodmorning parents. 😊 EDD is on August 30 to Sept 1 , I am now on my third trimester anytime ready to pop! 😁 Just want to ask if may mommies dito na naka experienced na magkaroon ng bulutong during or before pregnancy? My eldest son has Chicken pox/Bulutong tubig and to make it clear po ako nag aalaga since wlang ibang gagawa as a parent po at bilang nanay mas kilala ko kasi anak ko kahit medyo risky for me & my baby i have to protect also my eldest son. If someone experienced tulad po nitong question ko can you advice something how can i protect my self para di ako magkaroon ng bulutong , Btw katabi ko matulog anak ko pero hindi po kame nag skin to skin dahil snasabi ko sa kanya na delikado para samin ni baby sa tummy ko pag nahawaan nya kame and he understand but we're sharing the same bed pero may gap. Sana may makatulong sakin. Thankyou in advance. 🙏

Hi mommy, kindly bring this concern to your OB po na meron pong chicken pox yung eldest nyo. Delikado po talaga kasi ang exposure sa chicken pox especially pag pregnant.. and malapit na yung edd nyo.. you may not notice it po pero baka nahawaan na po kayo, hndi lang ganun ka visible pa yung mga blister kasi usually lalabas po ito after 10-21days from exposure.. (pwera nalang po if vaccinated kayo and nagkaroon na po ng bulutong.. meron din po kasing cases na nauulit po ulit) for the precautions naman po I would suggest momsh na mag suot ka po ng may sleeves muna, yung bedsheet should be changed po weekly, proper ventilation sa room para mabilis mag dry yung rashes ni baby then ask pedia for OTC medication and mga cream po for the rashes.. and ask someone from your family po na magpaligo kay baby para wala kayong direct contact sa skin nya talaga.. Now my concern mommy is.. paano kayo ng new baby mo po.. kasi delikado din po sa newborn yung chicken pox.. kawawa dn po si baby... hope everything gets well soon mamsh goodluck with your delivery 🥰🫶🏼

You're welcome mamsh.. if possible po, have it done by someone nalang po from your family po basta hindi po ikaw, kasi yung paglagay nyo po ng calamine lotion is direct contact po sa blisters nya.. para po safe din kayo ni bunso.. pagnagkaroon po kasi kayo ng chicken pox lalo na sa 3rd tri, may possibility and mataas po risk for varicella pneumonia.. check this link this mamsh for reference: https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/pregnancy-week-by-week/expert-answers/chickenpox-and-pregnancy/faq-20057886 🫶🏼
