Is it a good idea to keep a cat as a pet if you have a baby at home? Dogs are loving and loyal by nature, how about cats?

Cats are pretty aloof and independent. You don't need to walk them or worry too much about them like dogs, in my opinion. I have a cat and as long as you make sure they have enough food and water, sterilise them when they are of age, they are seriously very easy to care for. They don't ask for attention, they give you attention when they feel like it. You know the saying, you don't own a cat, the cat owns you haha. They are just as loyal and loving as dogs, just more subtle and they don't show it the way dogs do.

I prefer not to have any pets as we are all allergic to their furs. So Long as you can live with the cat and your kids can too, then live with the cat.

(Sorry send too fast) For dogs, make sure you monitor in case the dogs are to eager, especially larger dogs knocking/pawing ur baby to hard etc

Cats are ok, make sure u monitor in case there are allergies

Fur is problem
