Dark genitals

Hi, my genitals area have gotten a lot darker than usual ever since I became pregnant. Im talking 3-4 shades darker and it’s quite unsightly (in my own personal opinion) I was wondering if this was normal because I’m worried it’s a sign of GD? I’m taking the test in 2 weeks but can’t help noticing the dark areas. Is anyone going through the same thing? For context, I’m Chinese but I’m not fair skinned.
