What to do if waterbag breaks at home

I would start packing things I need for the hospital stay, take a nice warm shower, get dressed and have something to eat (so important since they won’t let you eat once you are checked in). Bring a bath towel to sit on as you would probably be leaking. Call the hospital and slowly make your way to the hospital. It usually takes several hours before you go into active labour.. so take your time. My water bag broke at home for both my pregnancies, and I gave birth at TMC too!

Hello! First thing is to call the hospital to let them know then heed their advice. If they were to ask you to come down, put a folded towel in your panties as the water will keep coming out.
