Week 36/37 delivery NICU?

From what i read week 38 is considered as full term. So if the bb born between 36-37 it will be considered as premature baby and need stay NICU for few day?

mine was born w37 day 1 exactly and treated as a full term baby I've had a friend who delivered around w36+ but her baby came out fine and was treated as a full term baby too

37 is already full term. For nich, it sometimes also depends on the baby size and development
