Usually its because they have yet to learn how to roll over or lift their head...so try not to let baby sleep on his back for too long ...tilt him sideways and prop with small pillow every now and then

I have not experienced it but i read alot, that if that happens, at every feed alternate turn your child on his/her left then right and keep doing it for the first few months.

Generally the babies get flat head as they are always mostly on their backs. best would be to try rolling baby sideways from time to time
