Hi mamas, what do you look out for in baby items & toys to ensure it’s safe, toxic-free etc.?

The usual selling point for the past few yrs are “bpa free”. As long as get from a reputable baby retailer, should be all fine. Also depends on user usage and intended usage, one good example is wooden cot - pain can be non-toxic but it doesnt mean baby should be allowed to constantly chew at cot bar just cos pain is non-toxic.
