After giving birth, is it truth u cannot drink plain water and bath for the 1st 14 days? Why?

It's a myth. Even the TCM physicians would say to shower with warm water and drink plain warm water. Showering is especially important, to keep your wounds clean and free from infections. If you're worried, you can get those herbal bath packs. But just be careful, since some people are allergic to the herbs. And dry yourself thoroughly after showering. You need to drink a lot of fluids, especially if you breastfeed (around 3L). Apart from red date tea and soups, you will still need to drink water to fulfill that quota. Too much red date tea can be too heaty, not to mention that it will be a lot more calories. https://www.thomsontcm.sg/articles/top-3-confinement-myths/ https://www.euyansang.com.sg/en/beware-these-6-confinement-myths/eysfertility1.html
