Pregnancy

Water Retention in Twin Pregnancy at 17 weeks. Is this normal? Is this a sign of preeclampsia?

My fingers (joints) hurt a lot each time I wake up from sleep & my feet is swelling and hurting a little. I’m not sure if this is normal as it’s my first pregnancy. Anyone with similar experience or knows how to deal with this?

During the third trimester, my fingers were sort of “freeze” every morning and my feet were so puffy, I had to wear my husband’s slippers. Things gradually became better after child birth. It was a singleton pregnancy and I had no preeclampsia.
