Toys for Babies

Hello fellow mommies. I am a first time mom and I have a 3 month old baby and we are planning to buy toys for her na or playmat. Nagpunta kami sa mall and it cost usually more than 1000 pesos, depende sa brand, whereas pag check namin sa Shopee nasa 300 pesos lang. We are planning to buy online nalng siguro, is it safe to buy toys online ba? I usually hear kasi na prone to toxic chemicals like lead pag china made na toys or yung walang brand online.
