Experienced about 2 hrs braxton hicks last night. 3-4mins apart, 31 episode. 2 loose stool ytd and once today. lost a bit of mucus plug today at 35w 1d. baby moving fine still. any advice what happened? should I be expecting an early arrival? Would love to hear from anyone who had the same encounter. My #1, #2 & #3 all overdue. #4 was borne on due date.

Best to call the delivery suite and tell them what happened so they can guide you. I've been having very regular braxton hicks and my waterbag burst this morning @ 35w3d & it turns out that I have constant contractions. Given steroid jabs to strengthen my baby's lungs and 2 other oral meds. Admitted till I give birth.

It came about 5-10 mins regularly on a daily basis. I thought it was braxton hicks cos it was a tightening feeling & really uncomfortable but I was told it was contractions.
