Sterilizing Baby Food Weaning Utensils

Hi! Due to a lack of space, i have been using my avent sterilizer & dryer to dry my baby’s food weaning utensils & freezer trays etc, and sterilize it at the same time. Am just thinking, is it safe to do so though? Will it cause the materials to degrade etc? Most of the utensils I use have said that it is dishwasher friendly….

Hmm I wouldn’t steam sterilise it despite the description states dishwasher safe. For example the Munchkin spoon i bought, it says top rack dishwasher safe, however it also say do not boil or steam sterilise it.

I didnt sterilize the utensils, freezer trays.. i dont feel safe and i rather not do it and just wash will do..
