Hi Choon Yen, I have similar issue with both of girls. Tried many brands n bottles but my kids are still fussy and very windy in their tummy. They can cry for hours and not able to sleep well even I have burp them well for every feeding. One of Doctor told me that some babies have weaker tummy and tends to trap winds into their tummy. This is a passing phrase for some babies and he recommended me to add Ridwind (as shown in the picture) into their milk. This taste good as it is vanilla in favour and most babies will not taste it. Or you can feed this to the baby before feeding of milk to prevent windy tummy. So far, this is the best best formula for my 2 kids. After some weeks, you can try to stop it and you should find improvement:) Jia you mummy:)

Thanks Jaz:) I will get this rid wind for my baby to try out. Hope it can help and improve the feeding

I'm using Avent now, and my baby really got very bad colic. The moment he swallow the first milk I can hear gas in his stomach and it is both stressful for baby and myself during every feeding as his face looks really painful . No matter how many burps and application of 'lu yi ' oil , though it may help to an extent , I just want to find out if the root cause is the milk bottle. Otherwise the last resort is to switch to another milk powder which is comfort to the stomach .

Not sure if this is helpful, but I have a friend who is also considering Dr Brown bottles. The feedback she had gotten is that it seemed to help with reducing colic.. But there are many parts to wash. So currently, she still trying to decide between that, Tommee Tippee and Avent.

i used dr brown bottles (120ml) since birth and my LO has never had an issue with burping and drinking milk, and til now 3mths only spit milk once, now he is having using tommie tippie (a gift) as i have upgraded the capacity of his vol thus changed to a bigger milk bottle

i started using avent in first, and i always make sure i burp baby after each feed to prevent colic. but ended up, baby still got very bad colic. so i went to get dr brown bottles and just after a couple of feeds, i could see a differences..

not that im aware of but u must ensure that u burp the child at intervals and at the end of the feeding. this is definitely able to reduce gas. dont leave the milk for too long and ensure it is warm enough.

Not really la. I have quite a few diff brands but prefer Pigeon Ppsu. Just make sure u burp the kid always. Very Long also die die must burp unless u want the Singapore icon Merlion in your house

My boy was on Dr. Brown and also took ridwind. Very gassy still and very hard to burp. I can't say it works or not but as it's been researched to be the best, I stuck to it. Hang in there.

I used Dr Brown but my baby still had colic. Personally feel rid wind drops work better. Dr brown bottles have a lot of parts and pretty troublesome to wash.

And yes. In the end I changed to pigeon. No frills and easy to use.
