Does baby led weaning mean no ‘spoonable’ foods at all? What about foods like oatmeal and yogurt?

Baby-led weaning means the baby has to feed herself. She controls what and how much goes into her mouth. I was also contemplating about this issue when I came across the Num Num Gootensil. This utensil allows children to self-feed purees and porridge easily as it does not have a rounded end on one side like a typical spoon and all they have to do is just dip into the puree and put it in their mouths. I purchased it from MumsPick at $21. http://mumspick.com/numnum/numnum-dips.html
