Famotidine

Does anyone take Famotidine to treat acid reflux while pregnant? I am currently in my third trimester and my gynae prescribed this to treat my very bad acid reflux. I am afraid the medicine will not be good for my baby but my acid reflux is so bad that I have to take it every day if not I will not be able to sleep no matter what I do: eat earlier, avoid certain food like spicy food, sleep on the left, prop my pillow higher etc. #advicepls
