Did anyone ever encounter bleeding or spotting at the early stage of pregnancy? How long does it last?

I had light spotting in late first trimester. It only happened one-off. I would have seen a doctor if it persisted or the spotting became heavier. Didn't visit any doctor since it didn't recur.
