Our daughter has never been a good drinker, always refusing the bottle, pursing lips, turning head or body away. She’s 6months and on good days she manages 700ml.
But she seems to drink at infant care based on the daily reports!
We started sleep training and are trying to move to eat - play - sleep but she’s refusing the bottle even more now and with a whole lot more energy (accumulated from sleep). It’s the first few days and the consultant says it’ll take a while for the feeding to adjust, but it’s day 3 and she’s had less than 500ml each day.
We’re just worried she’s not getting enough and this might not settle - any insights or past similar experiences to share and remedies?
Adding on that we have started solids but it’s just a few teaspoons of purée a day.
