Newborn doesn’t sleep well in cot

The cot is big and empty, my newborn would fidget in his swaddle, make noises and ultimately cry. Any mummies had similar experience and can share what did you do to improve the situation? Thank you 🙏 #1stimemom

it’s very normal cos they are not used to it yet.. try white noise, dark room environment
