How to make vaccination day enjoyable for kids π

(It's hard being your own daughter's pedia btw. π) Here are some ways I did that worked for Priya. 1) I had to talk to her 1 week to prepare her emotionally for the vaccination day. 2) I don't try to scare her saying that I will use injection on her. (Mommies please don't scare your kids and wag nyo ipanakot ang mga doctors and bakuna π ) 3) I give her words of encouragement and tell her that she is brave and will be protected π I explain to her the vaccine and what it's called. I also tell her it will protect her from diseases πͺ 4) She has her own doctor's kit toy and I let her practice on her dolls and on me as well during playtime. 5) I give her a chocolate treat after. π Hope these work on your kids too. #ProudToBeABakuNanay #VaccinesWorkforAll #HealthierPhilippines
