Yes, you can use multiple languages to communicate with babies because they are pretty much sponges. Alot of my girlfriends have mixed children and they respond to English, their mother's language (eg Malay or Chinese) as well as their father's language (some European language). According to them, the key is to be consistent and to continually rotate between the languages!
