I will also ask my elder kid what he like and which toys are suitable for his little sis. I take in his suggestions however it does not mean I will get everything he wants. Exception: birthday & Christmas 🎄, he will get what he want at a pre-agreed budget. Result: he’s happy & my pocket will not burn. 😜

I buy toy to kid is to surprise them but not I am over bearing. Kid have the right to choose the toys they want

Actually we make the decision together. No point getting something they don't want to play

I'd prefer the children to choose their own toys. I'm not playing with them anyway.
