How to create CDA account

My baby has been born, and we have registered baby bonus & his birth cert thru lifesg app. But how do we create his CDA account ? Or once registered birth cert it will also create cda account ? Am really clueless how this cda works #FTM

His CDA account will automatically be created after you registered birth cert and baby bonus through LifeSG app. You will receive a letter from the bank (should be POSB) within 1-2 weeks time. But account will be empty. Once you activated the card, the money will be deposited within the next week. Alternatively if you have a preferred bank, you can just walk in to the bank to create a CDA account.

IIRC, I applied via the bank app (I use Posb). Then link to either parent’s acc.
