baby refusing to nap

Baby is 11 days now, but refusing to take his afternoon naps. He cries when put in his cot, and refused to sleep even if we carry him. What can we do?

You can try swaddling him, keep the room cool and switch on white noise or make the “Shhhhh” sound. It will make him feel more secure.
